Message: I did not enjoy the book you picked for the One Book this year but want to say all the others have been superb. What will it be htis year? Will you be announcing it soon? I gues it made me relive some bad days for my family in the South. Since I am a U. of Mississippi grad I think the story is tilted.

Message: As a high school teacher I am often asked what books students should read to prepare for college. I teach in an urban school so many of the pupils go to historic black colleges. Can Jan Thoman suggest a list? Thank you.

Message: Hello All --
I want to commend you on the publication and its online version. What a nice way to reach a niche audience of people, as you say, want to go, see and do. I read most all of your columns but I really like the Sonya Toler and Jean Meile columns because I love to "get out of Dodge" and I love the Jan Thoman and Kevin Leitzel articles too. Kelly Summerford always has interesting things to say for me to share with the boards, mostly nonprofit boards, that I belong too. Thank you and I will send you a request for Writers Guidelines and hope I will be able to appear in your pages someday like these people I love to read.

Message: Hello,
I read with interest the movie revue by Suzy Hershey. This interested me very much and encouraged me to see the film. I really, really liked it. I hope you wil do more revues of films in your paper as I like to know what other intelligent people are thinking I have signed up for my subscription to ShowcaseNow... is it only $7 per year. Is that for 11 issues as you have said on your Subscription Page? How can you do It?
Many thanks.
PS: I was a patron of the Village Library and Suzy Hershey never steered me wrong! Hello, Suzy!

Message: I can't believe it. Today is the day. The day when it is announced. The next One Book, One Community selection. I'm centering everything I do today around the launching at the Hummelstown Library. I have enjoyed the past selections and they have encouraged me to read books I never would have read before. Hats off to all the volunteers who help make this happen. And hats off to the sponsors. I know that working in this field libraries do not have all the funding they need to do the things to make our communities better! Bravo!
